MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone stole used cooking oil from a restaurant in Montclair earlier this week, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a person hired to collect used cooking oil from Hunan Taste on Alvin Place reported the theft on Monday.
The worker told police that he arrived at the dumpster where the oil was stored to find a broken lock. Nearly 80 percent of the cooking oil was missing from a 350-gallon container.
