No idea for this specific product, but generally speaking combination units like this don’t do either task particularly well. If space is truly a premium and you aren’t looking for the highest quality it’s probably fine.

    Had it, don’t recommend it.

It does about 2/3rds as well with each task as a dedicated unit. It’s not a bad idea, but it needs refinement. Generally speaking, it struggles to hold heat and regulate itself as a smoker. The design has a fire pit under the burners, which pushes all the internals up towards the cooking surface. One of my man complaints was the distance between the grates and the burner tube guards caused a lot of grease flare ups. You really couldn’t leave the thing unattended with the lid closed for any amount of time without burning what you were cooking. Also, the app interface is a PITA.

The only reason I could think one would want something like this is for the sear function on a propane bbq? Not sure how well it works but some pellet grills have a similar ability.

But if it’s just for cooking with propane you get the same exact results if you cook with the pellet grill at bbq temps. You get very little if any smoke flavor at 350 and so I see no reason to go with propane at all.
