dad says if you like the dough in khachapuri and pies, you’ll definitely love this.
RECIPE in case anyone wants to try making it:
sausages 15 pcs
flour about 600 g
fast-acting dry yeast 11 g
milk 500 ml
sugar 2 tbsp (helps activate yeast + slight sweetness)
salt 1/2 tsp
vegetable oil 3 tbsp (keeps dough soft, plus a bit for greasing)
for brushing:
egg 1 (for color)
milk 1–2 tbsp (for a smoother golden finish)
p.s. good luck cooking, everyone!

What’s the oven temp and bake time?
Looks delicious.
They look delicious, recipe please
Looks like sausage rolls to me.
I’m in Texas. We would called them klobasneks, although many Texans will say (incorrectly) it’s a kolache (but with sausage instead of fruit).
Do you dip them in anything or just right down the hatch?
They look absolutely delicious 😋
It’s Pigs in a Blanket… an American classic, never question its glory!
He’s not wrong. Delicious bread with meat inside is a win every time.
nah these are bangers. I make them with puff pastry sometimes

Looks like bagel dogs to me, nothing weird here.
Hrenovke u pecivu, in Croatian. Hot dog in a bun.
We call it pigs in a blanket in the southern us
Piggy in a blanket. Classic and delicious.
My mom used to wrap hot dogs in the Pillsbury crescent roll dough (the kind that comes in a tube) and bake them. We called them “pigs in a blanket” although I know a lot of people consider those to be only sausages wrapped in pancakes.
bagel dog?
Kolaches
We call it “pigs in a blanket” in the Midwest (USA)
We had them a lot growing up when my mother didn’t want to “cook”. She used Pillsbury crescent rolls and sausages. I loved them. If I was lucky I’d get to eat 3 of them!
What’s confusing about this?
Czech folks call this a “Koblasnick”.
In Texas they genetically call these “kolache” even though that refers to the fruit filled one.

Its dough. Wrapped around meat. You think you’d realize that by now Bob.
This is almost like what we would’ve called a kolache
