The Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s “Fresh Food, Families and Finance Program” is coming to Sequatchie County.

Families wanting to participate have the opportunity to learn about financial literacy and experience an interactive farmers market setup on Saturday, April 11.

Participants will leave with 40+ pounds of food from local farmers and makers like meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, honey, and bread.

Children will receive play “money” to “buy” food from this faux farmer’s market.

Pre-screening is required for this program. Participants must:

Have children ages 7-17

Meet income requirements

Live in TN to qualify
