I’m OBSESSED with the earl grey or matcha or anything tea flavored. My black sesame paste was homemade (toasted some black sesame seeds and processed w honey). It was tricky to swirl it in to the ice cream and it firmed up almost instantly, so its more of a black sesame blobs vibe than a true swirl. Tips welcome!

I skipped the peanut butter chunks and I also fine strained the entire mixture twice
The earl grey I did the NYT vanilla base, but started by steeping 6 tea bags in the warmed milk for 20 mins before doing the rest of the recipe.
Black sesame paste details are in the caption above.
I’m not a fan of drinking Earl Grey, but it makes an excellent ice cream flavor. Earl Grey wants to be ice cream.
(I love most teas, even weird ones, and have like 50 different types and blends in my house, but for some reason, I find Earl Grey off-putting.)
I made earl grey the other day! Made a custard and steeped the tea in the milk. Incredible.
Earl Grey Ice Cream is SUPREME … I’ve made duchess grey ice cream for a wine pairing shin dig and it was a HIT
Tea, earl grey, ice cold. (in your best Picard voice)
I love Earl Grey ice cream, but it hasn’t been as universally loved as other flavors. Some people don’t like bitter. I love matcha ice cream, too.
For the black sesame paste a little liquid oil might have helped.
