I’m a bit biased, but I’d recommend paying a premium for a recteq. My first was a 340 and it’s lasted over 10 years without a single issue. I still have it, but recently upgraded to the flagship for more space. I haven’t needed the lifetime warranty, but from what I understand they’ll replace parts or even the entire unit if anything goes wrong

I have had my pitboss for about 8 years now. It’s not the flashiest smoker but if you keep it clean it should do the job and last.

What’s your budget? In my opinion when someone is looking to upgrade they don’t buy a box store stamped sheet metal grill.

I have the Pitboss 1150, works very well and have had it for about 6 years. I have only replaced the ignitor last year ($10 Amazon). This shouldn’t disappoint you. Happy smoking. Cheers!

I’ve had 2 PitBoss smokers. first was an 850 and now I have the Savanah. Love them both . Highly recommend.

I have the Sportsman 820 w/ wifi. My 3rd year with it. I never use it with the flame broiler open, but it’s still the hottest spot on the grill. The 1100 gives you more room on the sides, so that’s nice. The temp settings are L, 200, 225, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 475, and H. Other PB models have controllers with more precise settings, but these things don’t hold temps that well anyway, so it doesn’t really matter. I think it’s a good buy.
