Found a Japanese market in Denver that sells sashimi by the lb
Paid ~$60 for 2 of the plates pictured. It was surprisingly fresh and delicious.

Those are mad legit prices. I Iike making sushi seasoned rice and eating it even if I have no fish, so I’d just straight up buy those and make lazy nigiri with them. Lucky duck

Great prices especially on the scallop. Boy what I’d give to have a supply of those near me..

Have nothing to compare prices on except maybe CostCo. Is there anyplace that posts “Wholesale” prices online?
Still, knowing my own area, this seems like a good deal. Enjoy.

Pacific mercantile is phenomenal. Highly recommend grabbing some of the kizami wasabi the next time you’re there. It’s basically frozen pickled wasabi in the frozen case behind the right side of the fish counter.
