Toasted and buttered slices of baguette (ran out of sliced bread, aka 'where I went wrong' #1).
Baked beans (a whole tin, aka 'where I went wrong' #2).
2 Lincolnshire sausages (sliced).
2 hash browns.
2 rashers of thick cut smoked bacon
Garlic fried mushrooms (half a supermarket punnet ≈ 125g/250g)
I am stuffed and unable to finish it all!
Pretty much a first for me. Mama didn't raise no quitter!
Still, the mushrooms worked out well, so thank you all for holding me to a higher standard. 🫡
Bean barrier, definitely useful for such a quantity, but in future I shall be returning to just 1/2 tin of baked beans and less bread.
Today was a delicious overreach. Eyes bigger than my stomach. Rest assured, nothing will go to waste.
