I've been looking forward to Uchi landing in Charlotte for a while now. I think they opened literally last week; another solid addition here in the city.
All good stuff with a rotating (daily?) fish list, nicely prepared, a nice space and atmosphere, and great staff. Can't complain!

Uchi is good, but a little pricey for what you get. It is consistent and the staff is well trained, which helps justify the expense. As it continues to grow, it is slowly losing its soul, but I applaud it for bringing quality upscale Japanese to the masses
What are the 2 farthest to the right? I think top is chu/otoro but that is either not wasabi or grated wrong. And there seems to only be olive oil/maybe salt on the pink one. Btw I know the GM there. Great guy!
