If you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing Argentinian food, chances are that you can’t stop thinking about it. India is in serious want of the meat-forward, grill flame flavours of the cuisine, and we’re finally in luck. Hailing all the way from Argentina is Chef Javier Rodriguez, bringing an exclusive experience from his restaurant El Papagayo – widely considered one of the best in the world.
El Papagayo, located in a narrow repurposed alley in Córdoba, focuses on 12-course tasting menus crafted from local ingredients. Equally renowned is the wine, which is derived from Argentine terroir techniques. Chef Rodriguez is bringing a taste of that experience to India for the first time, with a seven-course wine-paired tasting menu celebrating the flavours of Northern Argentina. The meal will be hosted in Mumbai and Delhi in April, and makes for a perfect date night or celebratory dinner. Tickets are available on District.
