Picture this.

It’s Wednesday afternoon. You’ve been up since 5:30am for your gym class, at your desk by 8:30am, and have barely looked up from your desk for the past 9 hours. By 5:30pm, that all-too-familiar “What are you thinking for dinner?” text rolls through. The last thing you feel like doing is wandering the supermarket aisles, grabbing ingredients for a pasta-alla-vodka that’ll be…fine, at best.

Luckily, Coccobello has other plans. Their new three-course set menu is just $35 – and honestly, by the time you’ve bought groceries, driven to and from the supermarket, and spent 10 minutes debating whether homebrand parmesan is worth saving an extra $1.50 – you’re probably saving time (and money) by popping in to Coccobello’s. Take a seat and let someone else do the work.

Let us take you through it.

Classic arancini to start, golden and crisp on the outside, rich and comforting in the centre. The perfect little bite to hold you over until the the next course.

Then comes the main event, where the fun really starts. Choose your base – pasta or house-made gnocchi – and pair it with the sauce that’s calling your name. Torn between pesto e stracciatella and alla panna? Sounds like the perfect excuse to bring a date and try both.

To finish, a scoop of house-made gelato or a refreshing sorbet to wash it all down. The kind of dessert that leaves you happily full and wondering why you ever considered cooking in the first place.

Everything is made in-house, from the pasta to the gnocchi, with that unmistakable home-made love that truly does make everything taste just that little bit better. Nonna would be proud.

“We have a great range of real italian dishes.”

We asked the team what they’re most popular pasta combo is. They’re reply tells you all you need to know.

“Honestly, just the classics. Gnocchi with Napolitan. Everybody really loves it”.

Even better, the Coccobello team has an extensive menu of vino and cocktails to get you through hump day. Come for the pasta and arancini, stay for a bottle – or two, we’re not judging.

Coccobello specialises in delivering fine Italian dining with a relaxed atmosphere. With polished terrazzo floors and stunning concrete walls, the team truly sets the scene for an authentic feast, straight out of old photographs of Nonna’s kitchen in the ’80s or Trattorias straight from Italy. A little fancy, little rustic, a whole lot of love.
