Buy as many as you can and HOLD. Everyone always comments on how early this wine drinks well…and they are right compared to other Barbarescos. BUT it also ages beautifully and will be wildly more interesting in another few years. I think these are often at the sweet point between 8-15 years depending on vintage and storage condition

When we were first getting into wine in 2008ish I was in charge of the wine for a friends bachelor party. I had a hookup w a Stu and bought a case of this for $250….that was a lot of money to us back then.
A few of the Bachelor Party attendees did not know what it was and two guys chugged an entire bottle each to the dome. Luckily that was the 2nd night and we still had plenty.
