A Sonoma-based winery and vineyard operator has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, seeking to reorganize its finances while continuing operations.
Robledo Family Winery, based at 21901 Bonness Road, Sonoma, filed for bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California, Santa Rosa Division, on April 8, 2026, according to court filings.
The company has no previous or pending bankruptcy cases, according to PACER.

The bankruptcy petition was signed by Everardo Robledo, the CEO of Robledo Family Winery. The company is represented by attorney Douglas B. Provencher of Embolden Law PC.
Robledo Family Winery listed several creditors with large unsecured claims who are not insiders. Some of the significant creditors include Arlington, VA-based Kapitus (with a claim of $121,370), Rancho Dominguez, CA-based ILS, Inc. (with a claim of $36,297.06), and American Express (claim of $36,185.83).

The Robledo Family Winery is a family-owned business and is one of the first wineries in the nation to be founded by Mexican vineyard workers on their own land.
Members of the Robledo family came to the U.S. in the 1940s under the Braceros guest worker program. Reynaldo and Maria Robledo began commercial wine production from their estate grapes in 1997 at their winery in Sonoma Valley.
