Just an attempt lol but I did a red wine reduction that Im really proud of and I think I plated it well enough lol

Edit:

Steak: Any thick one works. Medium rare is what I did here. I cooked out for about 45 min to reach room temperature. Used avocado oil for the skillet. I seasoned with sea salt and black pepper. Added a massive knob of unsalted butter, smashed garlic, thyme for the butter wash.

My bf specifically asked for sliders lol. I used aged Gruyere. It has a really gooey cheese pull and he loves it. It's just meat and cheese like he asked. I did use avioli on the buns.

Sides: a mix of broccolini, snap peas, and romanesco. I blanched them then tossed them in the same pan I used for the steak. (they could soak up the remaining beef fat and garlic btw). I browned small cremini mushrooms in butter (nearly caramelized)

Salad for me: just spinach, cucumber, and asparagus. The dressing was mix of lemon juice, Dijon mustard & olive oil. Green juice with kale, cucumber and ginger

The fries are truffle fries. I used the double-fry method I saw on YT once. once at a lower temperature to cook the interior, and a second time at super high (i did 400F) to get a super crunchy outside. And salt and parsley to top it

This took me about 4-5 hours 🙂
