Do you have to sacrifice flavor and taste to eat healthy low carb food? No, these pizza’s are as good, if not better than the regular flour based options.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower base:
1 cup cauliflower, (100g). Squeeze out as much liquid as you can,
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese, (113g),
One large egg,
1/2 tsp salt,
Tsp Italian herbs,
1/3 tsp garlic powder,

Coconut flour base:
2 large eggs,
3 tbsp water,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp Italian herbs,
1/2 tsp garlic powder,
1/2 cup coconut flour, (60g)
3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese,

Instructions:
Mix the ingredients for the two bases. The coconut dough will be more liquidly than the cauliflower dough. Spread on the base of two forms. I use 20cm cake forms, works very well. The cauliflower dough is enough to make two 20cm bases.

Bake in preheated oven @ 200℃ for 15 minutes.

When done, remove the bases from the oven and build your pizza. Ultimately, the toppings is a creative process of personal choice. I use a tomato and pepper pureed pulp as my pizza sauce, seasoned to taste. Top with lots of mozzarella cheese, salami, sausage, ham, bacon, olives and peppers. Use ingredients you have and enjoy. Top of with some more cheese. Return to the oven and bake till the cheese has melted.

Both bases give delicious pizzas. Give them a try. Have a look at the video linked below for a visual reference. If you find this post informative, please like and comment.
