Sautéed Mushrooms add earthy rich flavor to any dish and is ready in minutes.

Ingredients:

100g unsalted butter,

1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil,

Small onion finely chopped,

400g button mushrooms,

50ml dry white wine, (optional)

1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary,

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley,

4 large garlic cloves minced,

Salt and pepper to taste.

Method:

Heat the butter and oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Sauté the onion until softened (about 3 minutes).

Add and fry the mushrooms and cook until golden and crispy on the edges.

Pour in the wine and allow to reduce slightly.

Stir through rosemary, 1/2 of the parsley and garlic. Cook until fragrant.

Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with the remaining parsley and enjoy.
