I recently ate like way too much Hi-Chew over the course of a week before suddenlu stopping in the middle of one and realising that it feels awfully gelatiney. I looked up the ingredients and realized they *are* made with gelatin.
If you don’t know what [Hi-Chew](https://www.candywarehouse.com/hi-chew-fruit-chews-candy-packs-assorted-150-piece-bag) is, it’s this little japanese candy with a texture kinda similar to taffy, but unlike taffy, they don’t taste awful.
Does anyone know any alternatives to this? I can live without it if not, it’s just kinda sad because I really like them.
