After reading [this](https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/california-wildfires-wine-napa-cab.html) I am now intrigued and actually want to try smoke-tainted wines. I know a lot of them were [smelted into vodka for example](https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/smoke-tainted-california-grapes-find-new-life-vodka-2021-12-03/), but I hope not all of it was poured down the sewer.
