Hi all! I decided to go vegetarian after the holidays this year and so far it’s been good! The only thing I REALLY miss is this Hawaiian chicken recipe (https://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/519971538/sweet-hawaiian-slow-cooker-chicken/) that I used to make all the time. I have a crazy amount of pineapple and yam in my pantry because of how often I made this.

I’m struggling to figure out if it’s possible to make this with tofu or something else? Would I still put the tofu in the crock pot as I would the chicken? Would it cook for less time? Does the tofu need some extra cooking/ seasoning before serving? Or should I just prepare the tofu separately and serve it with the yam and pineapple “sauce”?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
