Even with a rough start by eating at 1200 a day, many days I go over a deficit, “punishing” myself by not counting certain deficit days to makeup for other days, also, I had covid. I still managed to lose more than what I anticipated- lost 20lbs so far!

    I didn’t do enough research and started at 1200 cals on the first month, I felt very weak and it was a big mistake, so I probably lost more that I should’ve on month 1.

    When I had covid I was grabbing whatever was convenient because having covid was actual hell.

    Lastly, I didn’t realize until very, very recently that “punishing” yourself by having make up days is an unhealthy relationship to have with food. Your calories average out by the end of the week and month, so it’s all about having consistent and good habits is what I learned.

    Update: October 12th (not 13th) is when I’ll start on month 5 cause I’m goin out on the 11th so waiting until then will give me a little break anyway.
