    Apple Butter

    – 3 lbs apples (I used Cox’s Orange Pippins; skins left on, chopped into small squares)

    – 1/4 cup Splenda

    – Splash of apple cider (optional)

    – 2 teaspoons cinnamon

    – ~1 teaspoon nutmeg

    – ~1 teaspoon ground ginger (I just sprinkled what looked good for the nutmeg and ginger)

    – 1/4 teaspoon salt

    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Mix everything together in a slow cooker, and cook on low for 6-8 hours (mine didn’t even take the full 6) until mushy and a deep brown. Blend in blender until smooth, jar, and enjoy!
