Ingredients
For the yeast dough
1 cup warm whole milk (2% works too!)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs, room temperature
4 cups bread flour, plus more for dusting
1 teaspoon kosher salt
For the filling
1/4 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup dark brown brown sugar
1/2 cup peach preserves
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the cream cheese icing
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
4 ounces block-style cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted if lumpy
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste, or vanilla extract
For the peach cobbler topping
15 oz canned sliced yellow peaches in juice/syrup, drained
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon bourbon, optional
