What are you favorite, most authentic, Korean BBQ recommendations? I’m looking for a place that doesn’t skimp out on the variety of banshans, hands out Perilla leaves for the bbq meats along with the lettuce, etc.
I used to go to [So Moon Nan Jip](https://www.yelp.com/biz/so-moon-nan-jip-palisades-park) in Palisades Park, but they’ve gotten stingy with their banshan and meat portions, as well as much higher pricing.

SMNJ has been around so long it’s crazy, I think it’s like top 3 oldest in the area now. Sad to hear they’ve gotten stingy. Anyone remember when gejang was practically mandatory at BBQ places? And they almost always had perilla?
Sorry I can’t help with recs, it’s been a while since I’ve done KBBQ in the area, but if you spend a little time on Yelp I’m sure you can find what you’re looking for.
Having said that if you have any recs in that area that’d be cool! So much good food there.
