Recipe:
-butter
-gallon ziplock worth of bread ends/old bread
-1.5 cups milk
-4 eggs
-1/4 cup sugar
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-ground cinnamon
-1.5 cups cranberries, or whatever you have on hand (apples, raisins, nuts, berries)
Butter 9×13 pan. Cube bread and add to pan. Add fruit to pan. Mix milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla together. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour over bread, let rest while oven preheats. Bake at 360*F for 30-45 minutes.
30 minutes gives you a softer custard texture, 45 minutes gives you a nice crunchy texture on top.
