Just made and ate a lovely chicken and mushroom curry so the palate is a little washed out. Lovely pour, great depth of color. Alcohol and blackberry on the nose, potentially with some lemon peel. Very oak forward on the palate with a full and moderately dry body and long finish. Dark fruit moves in and possibly some faint cardamom.
The prior bottle I opened was overwhelming but so far so good with this one.

Keenan is such an underrated producer. The merlot especially. Need to try the cab franc.
