I bought these frozen rice cakes at a Korean store that sells a lot of prepared Korean foods. Got some side dishes, Japchae, and decided to grab these. The man working the register said that they are slightly sweet. I was too shy to ask him what I can make with them or what to eat them with so here I am now. Any suggestions welcome!

These are called jeolpyeon 절편. You just eat them as is (thawed of course). Or you can dip in honey.

actually, I don’t eat a frozen rice cake.

I always ate them as a snack or dessert. Just take a few out at time to thaw if you aren’t going to eat them in a day or two.
