  1. Having a garden of any kind has many more rewards than just a good tasting vegetable or fruit. There is something very special and exciting about watching your "plant children" grow and mature. You are giving life to little seeds and creating an environment for them to flourish. It is a very nurturing thing to experience, and we end up talking to our plants, because we know they have spirits, and can sense us and how we feel. Today I saw tiny cucumbers on my vines for the first time. There is a huge butterfly that comes each day to check each flower out. I have only seen one bee (which is alarming). Today I brought the hose around to use it instead of watering by hand. Making an easy system is the best way to enjoy growing. Having plants in containers makes everything so much easier and more manageable. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I know you have inspired so many people, including me. Today I stuffed my first Robbie container the way you do it (didn't use any potting soil though, just leaf mold). But the rest was as you instructed. I've been using weed and dirt "tea" and the plants love it. What is "dirt tea"? Just what it says. A handful of yard or good dirt in a container of water, shaken or stirred very well and used on the plants. They green right up. It gets the minerals into the water, and makes it more available to the plants because it is disturbed. Try it. I have brought orange trees into first fruit by this method. Sound stupid, but it works.

  2. I do stuff like that in the night. Also I'm new to your channel.wanted you to know I made your little cup hummingbird feeders and I'm getting more hummingbirds here in my Bird garden here in NW georgia. Love your information 😉

  3. Robbie, I have a question about produce that comes out of my compost in the totes.
Will it be alright if I use your channel to ask other gardeners if they have encountered the same problem?

  4. PLEASE, PLEASE tell all people about HOT, HOT!! humming bird feeders!! I used to live Ontario,CA. MOVED to Las Vegas, NV. it's 118, low at night 90 degrees. I took my feeders DOWN. they burn their mouths and can't eat….die. you must tell people this. U are in a rare BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL area of this country. STOP FULL SUN!!. too much HEAT, take them away. Thanks jerry. 909 993 2924. Do love your show!

  5. You ever think of growing Toothache plant from seeds or plants?

  6. A weak immune system will kill you before any disease will. A strong immune system will fight most diseases.

  7. Drinking warm sage tea is excellent for a sore throat. If you cut the sage leaves small before seeping it releases the essential healing oils.

  8. Ok new to gardening. So when it is time to harvest what do I do with existing plant? I’ve got cherry tomatoes, peppers, carrots, cilantro, green onion, cantaloupe, and zucchini. I’m clueless.

  9. WHY is it anyone else's BUSINESS how you do things in YOUR OWN GARDENS?!? Please totally IGNORE all of the "Karens", and DO IT YOUR WAY! Exactly what you tell everyone- to do it their way. Please don't give them one thought. We adore you and your videos. I've learned soooo many things from you, and at 72, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Because of you, I can, again, have a huge garden AND the best tasting grub too! GO ROBBIE GO!!

  10. I love your garden ♥️♥️♥️👩‍🌾😊 it survive even tho it’s hot outside cuz you have ground dirt not cement like I have the steam from cement is hot there’s no cool temp it’s all hot, my plants didn’t survive, I only have a small flower beds that I can plant small veggies. All pots or totes are not doing well, specially they limit the watering here. I put mulch and leaves to protect them from heat 🥵 I envy your set up really lovely and conceive easy to water. Love it, love it, love it 😊♥️👩‍🌾👍👍

  11. When you mentioned peppermint candy I was reminded me of a recipe i have for mints made of cream cheese, powdered sugar and mint. It makes a dough and you make the candies any shape you want. Doesn't that sound good? Enjoying your videos. Thanks.

  12. Robbie they have corn syrup that’s not high fructose – found it finally at Target of all places ( went to 3 stores before I found it – someone told me about this product – don’t know for sure if it’s any healthier— can you do a video on making zucchini pickles?😊

  13. Went to store to get a big Costco size box of brownie mix $16 ! Costs have gone way up on packaged convenience foods since Covid—For mainly sugar flour & a little cocoa – now I look on YouTube to make all my baking stuff from scratch so much cheaper – this applies to growing plants from seeds which I do now almost exclusively now – used to just buy seedlings but that cost has skyrocketed so now I grow only from seeds unless I find something interesting on sale😊
