Made kimchi today! A couple of weeks ago I got a 50 lb box of cabbages for $9, this only used four out of ten and made about three gallons. I think we’ll be set for a while!

    I’ve been making kimchi for years so I just kind of go with it but a close recipe would be the mak kimchi recipe by koreanbapsang. I use Asian pear instead of sugar, and if you can find them the tiny salted shrimp make a big difference!
