  1. I just ordered 28 packs of seeds for less than 18$ from Bentley seeds. They're having a 75 percent off sale this weekend only if anyone is interested

  2. Hey Dan. Like you, we had a brutally hot summer. So, I’m excited about my fall garden because of the lower temperatures. Thanks for sharing what you plan to grow. 👍🏾 I appreciate the inspiration. Kindest Regards, Lady Cheryl ♥️

  3. Hey Dan, great selection of greens. I can't wait to see those veggies growing and harvest. Kale and bok choy is my favorite. That raised bed is ready for those veggies.

  4. Those are great seed choices for your fall garden. So looking forward to seeing your garden in a couple months. I love the 10 ft raised bed. I have to plant my carrots and beets seeds and that would complete my fall garden. I will have to try the bok choy. Thank you for sharing 😊🌱🌱💚

  5. Thanks for tips making a healthy garden bed. I don’t always prep and those plants show it. Have a blessed fall harvest and enjoy Today with family. ☀️

  6. In Japan, the regular color green mizuna is traditionally used on new year's day to make ozoni, a clear broth soup with mochi and vegetables.

  7. I am direct sowing some things too. I have a few seedlings I started outside I will transplant later. Great choice for your fall garden.

  8. Dan what is your rabbit on? I could see him speeding around in his cage. I will definitely be growing the Bok Choi, and other chinese green's. I did my seedling last week. Your are right this summer was brutal here in Florida. I am looking for the best fall. Peace and blessing.

  9. That Florida Mustard is a definite must! And it seems to volunteer for years.
I'll be starting most things inside in a week or two myself. I just don't trust this hot weather to leave when it is supposed to.
I am itching to start planting!

  10. Sweet seed choices Mr D, I'm trying to get my fall garden started as well but I know your fall garden is gonna be nice as always!! Y'all have a good Sunday evening sir!! Dan

  11. Hey Dan,
Thanks for getting back to me in IG. I’m truly new to gardening and you mentioned about worm castings, do I mix it directly with the soil to start my seeds?

  12. Brother Dan, awesome seed choices for your fall garden. We do a combination of direct sowing and indoor starts. Happy gardening!
    Much respect

  13. Hello Dan! Lots of great varieties that I love as well. The Mizuna is a favorite. I use the Red Japanese Mustard greens for chickens and bunny. It's too spicy for me. I sure wish we'd get a little rain with all this heat. Broccoli and cabbage aren't too bad. They do take up space though.

  14. Thank you for sharing Dan. I look forward to planting some of those seeds as well.

  15. Its cool to see the rabbits doing amazing in the intro when your talking, they were there listening to you Dan! I cant wait to see how that Mizuna comes out and the mustard! I remember seeing that cabbage last year I think. Best wishes to you my friend during this fall planting season! Have a great week.

  16. It’s good that you are trying different varieties of foods in your garden. I can’t wait to see the progress. I love that you prepared your garden before planting season.

  17. Hi, Dan. Oh yes, thanks for the reminder of the worm castings. I've not heard of Mizuna. I love collards. I might try mustard greens again, but they didn't do well last fall. I bet some of those brassicas didn't grow well for you because it's so warm in FL. MIGardener is in Michigan. I like to use them, they are in a similar zone as me, 6a. Blessings to you and your family. Enjoy the weekend.🌅🌱

  18. Loved the video! I lost my Seminole pumpkins and sweet corn to Hurricane Ian. Small loss compared to many. Raised beds are atop a greenhouse floor which composted down over several years and 2 feet of broken down manure and wood chips from the tree trimmers. Used a little 10-10-10 for last spring /summer watermelons. Planting seven lettuce varieties, pumpkin, collards and more sweet potatoes. SW Florida

  19. Russian red cabbage I think mine was called grew amazing. It’s not a head cabbage. It is wonderful and grows so well. I’m in Florida too. It’s all about not growing head veggies
