  1. My grandmother is Hungarian and this is how she makes haluski. One head of cabbage with an onion fried in oil. Make potatoe dumplings by grating 4 potatoes and mix with egg, and flour until sticky dough. Drop into boiling water until they float. Add to cabbage let cook on low. Very cheap.
