Today I wanna show you how to make delicious chocolate truffles using homemade sweetened condensed milk as a base. These truffles are easy to make and only require a few simple ingredients. [You can watch the full video recipe here](https://youtu.be/F0PCFb-DfKc).
**Ingredients:**
* 600 ml (2 & 1/2 cup) of milk * 150 grams (3/4 cup) of sugar * 20 grams (1 tbsp) of butter * 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract * 150 grams (1 & 1/4 cup) of cocoa powder * chopped nuts for decoration
**Cooking method:**
1. Mix milk, sugar, vanilla extract and butter (15 grams) in a pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Then simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened. 2. Pour the resulting condensed milk into a bowl and mix with cocoa powder (gradually add it). You should get a thick chocolate mixture. 3. Transfer the mixture to clingfilm, wrap and place in the fridge for a few hours until chilled. 4. Then take out the dessert, grease your hands with butter and start rolling small chocolate balls. Each ball can be sprinkled in toppings such as chopped nuts, coconut flakes or cocoa powder. Arrange the finished truffles on a plate and then chill them once more in the fridge (leave them for 1 night). After that the chocolate truffles are ready, enjoy!
