Tiger skin peppers is a popular Chinese homemade dish. The peppers are pan-fried (dry pan, no oil) and those charred spots look like “tiger skin”. In this dish, the peppers taste just a little bit spicy and sweet with a soy sauce and oyster sauce based flavor.
* 1 tbsp (15ml) soy sauce * 1 tsp (5ml) black vinegar * 2 tsps oyster sauce * 1 tsp salt * 1 tsp salt * 3 tbsps water
**Directions:**
1. Remove the pepper seeds (or leave it as it is if you like the dish to be spicy). Chop some garlic and make the cooking sauce. 2. Use a hot pan and medium heat to toast the peppers until they become soft and have charred spots. Remove the peppers for later use. 3. Add some oil, pan fry the garlic for 20-30 seconds depending on your preference. Add the cooking sauce and toasted green peppers. Let everything boil in the sauce for 1 minute. Enjoy!
