I know the pic isn’t that pretty, but if you have a waffle maker (I FINALLY got one after Years) I tried out a bunch of different recipes, and this was the easiest and tastiest one I’ve found so far. A lot of times I’ll eat them with nothing else on them.
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tbsp baking soda
3 tbsp sugar(I use dark brown and ad 4+tbsps)
1 tsp cinnamon(I eye it)
1/2 tsp salt(u can make them without it if on low sodium diet)11
1 tsp vanilla extract (u can ad as much as u want)
2 eggs
2 cups milk (or you can use evaporated milk. Use about 1/5 of a cup and fill the rest with water. Perfect cheap substitute)
1/2 cup oil or butter (I use olive oil and generally use a bit less)
Mix all ingredients together. You can add blueberries or chocolate chips,or cocoa powder, flax, hemp seeds,etc.. I sometimes ad a bit of vanilla whey protein. Top with whatever you choose(dipping them in pudding is another delicious thing besides syrup or fruit) This recipe makes 8-13(depending on how thick you want them. Enjoy!
