Then, with the leftover saffron, build a miniature conveyor belt system that goes up and down and all around, but then connects itself like one of those screensavers that shows a never ending process. Then, put the saffron on the belt and watch it, go around and around. Forever.

My dad had a big jar like this, the saffron was weak as shit… you had to use 1/4 cup to get the taste of using 4 pieces of good saffron.

When you use it try to grid the bits you want to cook with into powder by either using a mortar and pestle or having it between a folded sheet of clean paper and rubbing a hard flat object over it.

Start using it. It won’t go bad for awhile. Put it in a container where you can suck most of the air out and keep it in a cool dark place. Or even the freezer. I through about that much saffron in about 5 years from the looks of it and I use it almost daily
