It’s rabbit season where we live, and my SO brought some home for us to eat. This was my first time ever cooking rabbit, but he grew up cooking and eating it. I just kind of threw this together one evening not expecting much, but it turned out so good that he’s still bragging about it three weeks later.

I haven’t seen rabbit on sale for years. Always have it if a restaurant offers it!

Asian style. Never had rabbit like this. Good stuff, might try it myself

We occasionally receive some rabbit from our neighbours, and I only have one recipe. I will definitely give this one a try! Thank you for sharing!

This looks great! I’m in Chicago where you can definitely find frozen rabbit in the Polish and German groceries, so we cook it occasionally! I love doing it in the slow cooker, altho I hate picking out all the tiny bones. >_< but this recipe looks great, I’m definitely bookmarking this to try later!

This looks really good. I always have folks offer me rabbit, but I’ve never been good with it since it’s so lean. I think maybe slow cooking is the solution. I’m assuming you cooked it fresh and not thawed based on the rest of the thread?

  8. Picture it: college in Ohio.

Walk into the dorm bathroom, and two dudes are cleaning a rabbit in the sink, which they proceed to cook in a crock pot.

Probably a different recipe, but this one brought back memories.

Isn’t game not very good when slow cooked?
