Don’t be too hard on yourself (easier said than done); the past week was hard enough. All we can do is our best, and that can look different every day. Keep going.

did you eat 600 calories on some days? please don’t do that to yourself, that is not enough and very harmful

No, you’re not supposed to eat 1500 on average. You should eat somewhere between your maintenance and minimum reasonable calories. Generally, minimum reasonable calories are probably more than your basal metabolic rate. Maybe that is around 1500kcal. Then you have 2 choices. Either stick to 1500(ish) calories for the entire week or eat 1500 on some days and more (up to maintenance) on other days. But it is unreasonable to starve on some days. That will make you prone to uncontrollable binges. Also think of muscle loss and metabolic adaptation. Just don’t do it. If you plan to eat 1500 but then eat 1600-1800 kcal then no big deal. You’re still at deficit. If you eat at maintenance, then perhaps you needed the diet break. If you uncontrollably eat above maintenance, then consider self-reflection or even therapy. Dieting is pointless until this is addressed. (If you sometimes eat above maintenance on purpose then those YOLO moments are okay, as long as it doesn’t happen too often).

I can’t help but notice an obvious upwards trend after the two sub-1000 days.
