This is pretty straight forward :)!
– Small charcoal grill – Most afforable pack of chicken breast you can find (These are next day expiration so got them cheap cheap) – Skirt Steak (Same as Chicken method) All in these 2 items cost roughly $9 at Walmart and yield 6 servings in total
The charcoal is the most expensive part as I needed roughly 15 briquettes and the entire bad bring an estimated 90 pieces (Kingsford).
Recipe for grilling:
– Start your fire (Raging hot) – Create your cool side and hot side – Char the protein on the hot side for 1 minute (This will create grill lines) do this on each side 1 time with the lid off – move the protein to the cool side and put the lid on, Leave the meat sitting for 4 minutes then flip and leave for an additional 4 minutes – Remove lid and use a BBQ brush to brush on your favorite BBQ sauce. Flip the BBQ side onto the hot for 1 minute while brushing more sauce on the side facing you. Flip the sauce side to the flame for 1 minute and done – Ensure the inside temp reads 165 or higher and you are set!
It’s about a 45 minute process all in, waiting for the coals to turn white and hot is the most time consuming part!
