    I recently got a new cookbook with simple Korean dishes and this is the first thing I’ve tried from it. I also made chogochujang to have with it. Really loved how it turned out!

    For the fish I used smoked salmon loin and the texture was nice but the flavor was all wrong. Next time I’m gonna try finding some nice raw fish or maybe tofu. I went simple with the veggies and really loved how it turned out, the combo of crunchy veggies, rice, and sesame oil was great and I could see it working with all sorts of proteins. Super simple to make, too!

    Looks good! If you like, adding some bitter greens like watercress or minari kicks it up a bit.
