This is one of my favourites- I can’t remember where the recipe came from but it has been altered and passed down-
1 tablespoon plain flour
9 tablespoons dark soy
4 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons hoisin
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder (add more to your heat preference)
2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons garlic granules
400ml chicken stock
400g beef strips
Optional veggies- broccoli and red peppers go really well, but don’t cook the broccoli in the slow cooker as it can taste bitter.
Cook on low for 4 hours (or high for 2), add noodles (2/3 nests) and finish on high for 20 minutes.
Recommended to serve 4 (but we manage to demolish it between the two of us)
Looks delicious. Thank you for the sweet chilli recipe.
What type of noodles?
