I cannot find the original recipe I based this on, but here is essentially what I did for this batch
6 chicken thighs
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
4 cups chicken broth
1 stick butter
Salt, pepper, garlic
Cook on low for 4 hours
Shred and debone chicken
Add noodles (tortellini in this case) and cook another 30-45 minutes
I’ve done a similar thing, but used lasagne noodles and broke the shit out of them before putting them in. Adds random.
I’d probably add some vegetables. That also seems like a lot of fat between the thighs, cream of chicken, and an entire stick of butter.
I’d skim that oil off the top personally.
