It’s a healthy miracle : I finally found a tofu recipe that I like! Also good in wrap the next day with lettuce & tomatoes or as gimbap with rice and avocado rolled in nori sheet. Recipe in comments.

For 1 block of extra firm tofu :
In a bowl put 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of soy sauce and 2 tbsp of maple syrup. Add salt and pepper to taste, 2 minced cloves of garlic, and if wanted some turmeric for the color (about 1 tbsp) and sesame seeds (about 1-2 tbsp).
Mix then add 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast and a little bit of water (2-4 tbsp) to make it easier to mix. Add your crumbled tofu, mix well and cook in a pan at med-high until golden (about 8 minutes).
I personally let it crisps / almost burn before stirring cuz I love to make it extra crispy.
I’m OBSESSED with this recipe! I made it 3x over the past 2 weeks. For someone who never liked tofu, this is life changing. I tried it with chicken and it’s dry… definitely not as good.
