Lol stop shopping at Lunds and Byerlys. Go to a farmers market or shop for produce at Fresh Thyme

It’s double that on the west coast 😭

In NZ ($19.46 after conversion) would probably get 2 avacado, and mabe 2 tomatoes and if you are ultra lucky you might get pre bagged lettuce.

  4. Um… It’s the avocados.

Avos past their best day. 1-2 bucks
Avos that are hard as baseballs and 3 to four days out… 1-2 bucks.
Avos that are ripe or ripe within a day, 3 to 5 bucks.

So.. 2 Avocado and 12 bucks… Like saying my steak salad was expense!

I live in Minnesota and I spent $12 on 5lbs of potatos yesterday. It’s crazy.

Outrageous 😵😵🥵😵🥵 have u checked online for greens that u can collect basically everywhere? Can save u a few$ and the variety is big

  8. These are all imported and/or greenhouse vegetables.
    Try local seasonal instead

Half of that budget went to the avacados.

Avocados in California are about a 1.30 each at the cheapest. And this, along with Mexico next door is where most of the avocados are grown for the world. How much is it elsewhere?

  11. Ya. You got avocados and probably organic herbs.
