My partner & I are on a mission to check off everything on the menu at a local restaurant. Tell us what we should try next! 🍜

The options are hard to choose from! How were the dishes you tried so far?

I’d say seafood pancake and galbi!

Not necessarily for next time, but you will want to do 4, 5, 32, and 34 together. On this menu, those four + 39 align with foods typically found in Korean restaurants that offer Korean-style Chinese food. I would personally have done 4, 5, 32, and 39 (since 39 [noodles] and 34 [rice] are the same besides the carb type). But, since you already tried 39, I just went with 34.

I personally enjoy 23 or 30, but spice + intestines is not generally high on everyone’s scale. Lol. Hope this helps a bit!

I see a few good parings here. First choice would be Galbi (κ°ˆλΉ„) and you finish it with Naengmyeon (냉면). The grease of the meat is cut nicely by the cold noodle broth. Very commonly eaten together.

Second choice…. maybe some budaejiage and kimchi bokumbao. (λΆ€λŒ€μ°Œκ°œ & κΉ€μΉ˜ 볢음λ°₯) Anything goes good with Kimchi friend rice though. But that stew is legit hedonistic. Haha

I’d say some galbi + nengmyun (classic pairing)

and omg joki gooyee (it was 100% my favorite fish growing up)

So many good options! Personally, spicy stir fried squid and the bibim nangmyun are my absolute favorites (and unfortunately, difficult to make myself!)
I also love getting Kim bab and dok bokki together so I can dip my Kim bab in dok bokki sauce. Pork bulgogi is good, if they offer with lettuce and sides, love eating those as wraps

And of course the stone bowl bibimbap I always order at restaurants cuz I love crunchy rice!

You need to start over and take pictures of every dish, then write a blog post rating it

I’d say tray either Budae Jjigae or Bibim Naengmyun next, two of my favourites 🀀

Omuriiiiiiiice (omelet rice. It’s hard to find a more comforting food.)

  9. QueenOfRatchets

    1. Galbi & Mool Naengmyun
    2. Kimchi samgyupsal & Omelette Rice
    3. Boodae Chigae (usually big portion, no need to order more stuff) or maybe add edamame
    4. Bulgogi & Joki Gooyee & Bibim Naengmyun
    5. Tangsooyook & Jampongbap
    6. Kimchi fried rice & Kalgooksoo
    7. Altang & Seafood Pancake
    8. Yookgaejang & Spicy Fried Shrimp
    9. Doganitang & Goonmandu & maybe teriyaki

Some combos I think will taste good together
