    Cheap and Easy Chicken Adobo!

You can use any cut of chicken you want. For this batch I used drumsticks because it was $12.00 at Walmart.

    Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs of Chicken Drumsticks or any cut that you want.
    1 cup of vinegar
1/2 cup of dark soy sauce
    1/4 cup of brown sugar
    1 chicken bouillon or
    1 cup of chicken broth
    5 cloves of garlic, crushed
    3 bay leaves
    2 tablespoons of neutral oil
    Salt and Pepper

Optional: add boiled eggs, and chilli oil.

    Instructions:
Put all ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Taste and adjust the seasoning including the vinegar and soy sauce to taste.

Once everything is to your liking, add in your chilli paste and boiled eggs and simmer for 5 minutes then done.

The sauce should be a balance of sweet and sour.

Total cooking time: 30-40 minutes. Longer if you want to thicken the sauce.

Total spent: 20.00 for 4 meals each for me and my boyfriend.
