  2. 3 lemons
    1 1/2 cups of sugar
    1 cup of water

Boil lemon peel slices twice to remove bitterness.
Then, add the peels with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar.
    Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Drain the peels, spread them on a plate & sprinkle with the remaining sugar.

    Enjoy! (:

(The post was previously deleted because of an emoji i put in the title) 🙂

Last year I made candied lime peels, they were better than most candy and only lasted maybe 4 days in my house. Next time I think I’ll make lime, lemon and grapefruit

I think you mean to say sour gummy McDonald’s fries

  5. These look amazing! What’s the easiest way to separate the lemon from the peel?

At first I thought these were blursed french fries

  8. Any suggestions on what to do with the insides of the lemons? I wouldn’t want to waste them.

I love Orange peels like these… You should try!

For a brief millisecond I read part of the title and saw the picture and thought “candied french fries”, and now I need to make candied french fries. (Probably with sweet potato)

I had candied fruit during my trips to Spain and Italy, they are fantastic
