My local Korean market keeps their packaged tteokbokki in the produce section so it’s cool but certainly not refrigerated. The vacuum seems fine and the expiration date is in 8 months. Are these ok to use and refrigerate once opened or will these things kill me? [https://i.imgur.com/g4L03CG.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/g4L03CG.jpg)

I would consider them refrigerated if they were in a produce case and not just sitting out on a shelf.
That’s ddeok but it should be fine. It’s in a cool place.

jk anyway, some tteok is shelf stable. Check your package, it will say keep refrigerated or whatever if that’s what it needs. It never hurts to keep it in the fridge anyway.
