Quarantine soup: food for the next few days of our quarantine

    My fiancee just came down with Covid. I’m a teacher, and I work with kids who are immunocompromised so I am also out here quarantining (and hoping I don’t get sick).

    Anyways, I made a soup with what we had around and what was about to go off. so here we are

    16 oz can of corn

    1 cup green lentils

    1/2 an onion sautéed in ghee

    a handful of baby carrots also sautéed in ghee

    1 red bell pepper also sautéed in ghee

    a handful of grape tomatoes

    3 minced garlic cloves

    spices (salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes, cumin, bay leaves, and msg)

    a couple heaping tbsp of roast veg better than bouillon

    6 cups of water
