Corned Beef on sale this weekend! I threw this $5 cut of beef in the oven and I think it looks decent.

    So I bought this 2lb cut of beef for $2.49/lb as it’s on sale for St Patrick’s day.

    Recipe:

    1) Dry the exterior with paper towels

    2) Smother all sides in seasoning, I used Montreal style “hamburger” seasoning. Used about 1/5 of $6 bottle.

    3) Place in $1.70 aluminum one use tin.

    4) Place 1/2 stick butter on top.

    5) Bake uncovered in 425°F for 30 minutes.

    6) Remove from oven and do your best to cover/seal baking tin with aluminum foil.

    7) Reduce heat to 300°F and bake for 1.5 hours.

    8) Turn oven off and leave in oven for 1 hour.

    9) take out oven, put on carving plate, and slice up.

    Will feed 4 to 6 people if you add sides.

    Total cost approximately $9.25.
