Slow cooking is a game changer for busy parents. I’ve started using the slow cooker at least once a week to cook big batches of curry, ragu, stew, soup, pulled meat/chicken, dahl etc. It makes enough food for days and/or enough food to freeze. Cooking smarter not harder is the way.

    Ingredients:
    onion,
    garlic,
    chicken breast,
    satay sauce (bottled),
    coconut milk,
    tinned lentils (thrown in for the last hour),
    chilli,
    salt/pepper.

    I’ll serve with rice and green beans 😊
