Day 4 of counting. Day 4 alcohol-free. I honestly haven’t even wanted to drink, which is rare for me, because work has been exhausting, and focusing on consuming a healthy number of calories from quality foods has kept me busy. Today is Friday and the start of the weekend. Weekends can be hard for people who are trying to reduce/eliminate alcohol from their lives. So far, I’m feeling optimistic. I’m starting to sleep better, and the gut-healthy foods I had yesterday seem to have reduced some inflammation in my body (I have arthritis and eczema) so I’m feeling good today.
